Daring-Do and the Deserted Past Chapter 5
The wind swept through the Sandy Dunes Desert as a lone figure wandered through it's sands. A yellow pegasus, with it's wing wrapped in white bandage and a dark green jacket. The pony wore their light brown hat, keeping the glaring sun out of their eyes.
Daring-Do trudged through the sand, focused on putting one hoof in front of the other. It felt as if she had walking for hours. She was starting to see why ponies always said it was dangerous to walk through a desert; she had always known it was dangerous but it was different having to do it yourself.
Daring-Do wiped the sweat from her forehead, she was running out of energy and was growing more and more thirsty. Daring-Do sighed from exhaustion, she couldn't take too much more of this desert.
As her steps started to slow Daring-Do looked forward and saw something off in the distance, she couldn't quite make what it was, but she didn't care. It was something that wasn't sand, so she headed in it's direction.

"Which is every time." Daring-Do rolled her eyes.

Daring-Do and the Deserted Past
We all need things, things like air and water; but for one pony, that wasn't enough. She needed more, something a little more...interesting. One pony had something in her that made her yearn for more then what daily life could provide.
The flapping of wings flew through the air, drowned out by the sound of a loud engine. A yellow pony lay sleeping on a train seat, completely unaware of the pegasi outside of her window. Her grey striped mane lay curled around her side.
A few of the other passengers talked amongst each other, all waiting to arrive safely in Trottingham. Three pegasi wearing black masks flew up next to the train and flew next the windows.
The yellow pony blinked her eyes open, she felt like she had been sleeping for hours. In reality it was more like thirty minutes. She stretched her legs and tipped her hat out of her face. She shook the sleep from her head and looked down at her pack.
She had just been to an e
Red Riding HoodI want to believe people so badly when they say they won’t bite
that I contemplate climbing into their smiling jaws
thinking that it might be better to be split in two than left hanging.
But always, I draw my red hood and flit back into the forest
running in the shadows of pathways, never stepping into clearings
because I’ve spent my whole life in the wilderness
and I still can’t tell the wolves from the woodsmen.
